The sequel to the hit action thriller, The Bourne Identity, this second film The Bourne Supremacy sees Matt Damon reprising the role of Jason Bourne - a former assassin for a secret US Government operation, and still suffering from a little amnesia.

The Bourne Supremacy picks up where the first film left off, with Jason Bourne framed for a murder in Berlin.   This sets off a chain reaction of pursuits involving CIA handlers and a shadowy Russian oil magnate.

The fast-paced action hurtles from India to Berlin, Moscow, and Italy, with hand-held camerawork and split-second editing from Director Paul Greengrass (Bloody Sunday) to try and sustain the tension.

The cinematography gets a little too crazy at times, and the story bears little resemblance to Robert Ludlum's novel, but Damon puts in another good performance as the unconventional action hero.

Stars Matt Damon, Brian Cox, Julia Stiles and Franka Potente (all back from the first film), Joan Allen as the new CIA 'baddy', plus two of our great kiwi actors - Karl Urban (Kirill) and Marton Csokas (Jarda).
